Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain stroller that is light, durable and offers great maneuverability. Its one-hand fold is compact, which means it's easy to move and is freestanding when folded. The cushioned seat reclines into a nearly flat position, and there's a large canopy and storage bin. Baby-friendly? Yes, with an additional carrycot.
A good suspension and air-filled tires can help you to handle rough terrain. It's also suitable for jogging but you should wait until your baby is six or nine months old before doing this.

Ickle Bubba Air
This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is a brilliant option for parents looking for a lightweight buggy with enhanced features. It comes as an entire travel system that includes a lie-flat carrycot designed for infants, a multi-position forward and rear-facing pushchair seat and a selection of a group 0+ car seats, so you can have everything you need in one package.
The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to understand why it's earned the highest praise from its customers. It is extremely light - the wheels and chassis weigh only 6.5kg. 3 wheeled pushchair 's also very simple to put together. In fact, I was able to put it up and running in just five minutes, which is amazing given that it included a strapping of the fabric for the carrycot!
The seat is large and comfortable for Annie who is just 12 months old. The recline lever was easy to operate. There's plenty of room in the basket, and I love the fact that it has a zip-up pocket in the handle bar so that you can keep your keys and phone secure!
The only slight downside is the handlebar is low, which could be a problem for taller parents. It's covered with soft, supple leather-like material, which is easy to wipe down.
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is designed for active parents who want to get outside and explore. Its large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on forest and field trails, and the front wheel can be swivelled and locked for additional versatility. It also comes with a padded 5-point safety harness and front bar to ensure your child is safe throughout your journey, while the parking brake effectively stops the stroller from moving even when you rest. The comfortable seat is easy to adjust down to a comfortable lying position, and the canopy can be opened to allow netting for optimum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30 cm to accommodate dad's or mom's heights.
The Runner will accompany you on all your adventures whether it's a leisurely jog, a longer hike, or a long-distance walk. It has a fully-flat lay-flat seat and suspension air wheels to ensure a smooth ride. The front wheel can be locked to provide greater stability on narrow streets or crowded sidewalks. The stroller is also able to fold up to fit in car boot spaces and storage areas.
The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Additionally the locking system (requiring two buttons on either side of the handlebar) is less user-friendly. The handlebars are a bit higher than some competitors, which means they may not be suitable for shorter parents. However the stroller is strong and adaptable, and is worth considering for families with active children.
Red Kite Push Me moving
The Pace is a great option from Red Kite, an affordable British brand which is known for its easy-to-use and simple essentials for parents. It's the latest - and priciest - product in their bargain-priced lightweight stroller range and as with the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo, is car seat adaptable so that you can use it right from birth (the carrycot folds away).
The new Pace has some fantastic design elements, including rose-gold hues on the chassis, hood and stroller trims that truly make it stand out. The grey, tan and cream fabrics in the stroller and the car seat are super fashionable and there's an option to add a co-ordinating handle for the cover and bumper bar too.
It's suitable from birth to a max weight of 22kg. The stroller seat easily converts from a carrycot to a 2-in-1 reversible mode, parent-facing or world-facing. The stroller seat has multiple lie-back positions, comfortable padded leg rests, and an extendable sun canopy with hidden zip sections and a transparent flap, and retractable visor.
When folded, the Pace measures 56 inches x 43cm and 32 inches, which is perfect for hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. It's also simple to fold down, using two buttons on either side of the handlebar that just need to be pressed in and pop up.
Bugaboo Fox 5,
Created to be the ultimate all-terrain pushchair Bugaboo's newest Fox 5 promises to do everything. Its unique chassis, coupled with a shorter wheel-distance, makes it much more agile than its predecessor. I tried it out with my two children - a toddler and an eight-week old - across the rocky roads as well as woodland walks that are grassy and even cobblestones.
The puncture-proof wheels are huge in size - 22cm and a whopping 30cm - so they can cope with many different terrains. They also have a handy flap that can open or closes to let more air to circulate should you need it and is a nice addition. It's a bit bigger than most pushchairs, yet it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when you push it over bumpy surfaces.
The fabric of the seat is machine washable, as are the frame and faux leather grips are easy to clean. It is also quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt comfortable in the urban streets. A bonus feature is that it has integrated accessory points. This means you can add footmuffs parasols, changing bags, and even a snack tray. The hood can be used to block out rain and wind, however it's not waterproof. The single pram can be outfitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) that gives your child more leg room. It took around 20 minutes to set up the bassinet, and the same amount of time to transform it into the seat.
UPPAbaby Ridge
No matter if you're enjoying an early morning run under the stars or taking a moonlit walk in the cool air, the UPPAbaby Ridge turns every moment into a shared one. This all-terrain stroller is designed to keep you and your child engaged.
The massive foam-filled 12" and 16 "tires give you a smooth ride no matter the terrain. The suspension is patented, allowing you to glide over woodland paths with minimal impact on your child's legs and rear. The handbrake with a performance disc allows you to stop quickly even while jogging down the downhill slope.
The Ridge is at its best in every city scene, from bustling farmers' markets to street musicians playing music. The spacious basket can accommodate your market finds and everything else your baby needs while the large canopy provides sun and wind protection. The canopy on the front can be unzipped to reveal two mesh peekaboos that permit you to keep an eye on your baby.
The Ridge's reversible seat lets you to choose whether your child faces the world in front of them or you, and its simple foot brake system is easy for parents who are new. A fantastic feature is the reversible handlebar which allows you to adjust it to your height and preference. The Ridge's fold, unlike other strollers, is stable and self-standing when folded.
iCandy Core
iCandy’s new pushchair has many features that will really impress parents. It comes with a Multi-Mode Wheelbase and a groundbreaking LED Hub Light that is an innovation for the industry. It also has an integrated Ride-on Board which saves on future costs and makes it easy for an exhausted toddler to accompany you on family outings.
The Core can be purchased as a stand-alone unit or as a complete travel system and it is compatible with the most popular car seats from brands such as Cybex, Maxi Cosi and Joie. It has the biggest seat unit of the iCandy line, which means you can use it for your baby's first year and beyond. Like all iCandy pushchairs it is beautifully designed and is made of premium knitted jersey fabric. The parent's adjustable handlebar and child's bumper bar that can be detached are made of soft leatherette, and the folded calf support can be super comfortable for children.
I was amazed by how easy it is to fold and collapse. It only takes one hand with the seat unit attached. It's also easily tucked away in your hallway and boot which makes it ideal for travel. The iCandy Core comes with lots of extra accessories, such as a colour matching changing rucksack and footmuff/liner.
